Unsaid, by Neil Abramson; is about a veternarin, Helena, who has died but is stuck in between heaven and earth. She wonders around, too scared to go to Heaven's gate and see all the lives that she took. Her husband; an attorney of the law, David, is trying to make it through life without his partner, Helena. It's off to a bad start though because they have a house full of animals that David says, is just Helena's. While trying to deal with life with the animals and not having Helena there next to him, he gets working like always to help out a friend of his wife's. She is in deep trouble with the law and with helping her, David can begin the healing process. But, can he win the case for Helena's friend?

Unsaid, by Neil Abramson is simply a wonderful novel. Just the first two sentances made me cry and I knew from there where this novel was headed. Well... maybe not exatly where it was headed; there were still a lot of surprises! I feel in love with the animals and the characters; long after I closed the book, I still think about the characters and where they would be today. I loved this book so much, that not only did I recommed it to my friend, but I sent her a book for Christmas! My favorite quote from this story, the one that spoke to me the most, one I'll never forget;

"On the pages within are those who have come before, Those who shared their lives with us all too briefly. Those are the lives we honor. Those are our beloved angels who have returned to God."
