The Witches of Cambridge is a novel about 5 women and one man; Heloise, Amandine, Kat, Cosmia, Noa, and George. They all have special gifts; Heloise can see the future, Amandine can sense what people are feeling, Kat and Cosmia have baking spells, Noa can see people's deepest secrets and George can do very little spell wise.

It begins with the love story of Amandine and her husband, Elliot. Now, years down the road, she feels fear and guilt coming from her husband. She can sense that he's keeping something from her, and is a little distant from her and their twin boys. She fears that he is having an affair, so when she meets a student at the college where she works, Amandine feels like it’s her lucky day. The day Noa walks into Amandine's classroom, she blurts out the secret that her teacher is hiding. Amandine gets the idea to get Noa and her husband together so his secret can finally be revealed. Noa meets a man, Santiago, the first person whose secret she doesn't see. He tells her that he knows about her 'gift' and that if she wants, there's a way to make her normal. She takes the offer, and then falls in love with him and his paintings.

Next, you meet Heloise, and she's dealing with the heartbroken over the loss of her beloved husband, Francois. She feels like she is the reason for her dear husband's death, with all the feelings of guilt and she still hears his voice. She refuses to leave the house and feels like she lost her gift when her husband died.

Kat and Cosmia are sisters, their mother died after giving birth to Cosmia. Kat had to raise her sister, so she taught her everything she knew about baking. When baking, they use spells to help those who eat the pastries; their mother Kat all about the baking spells. Cosmia wants nothing more in life than to have a baby with her husband, Tommy, and sell her pastries. George is Kat's best friend; everyone can feel Kat's feelings for George, but George himself.

When Noa runs into trouble; and the group has to come together to save her. But with all their secrets, will they be able to open their hearts enough to save Noa?

This novel is everything I wanted in a book; it was love at first page. I couldn't wait to get off of work every day to read it. I felt protectiveness for them all. Not only did I want to find out their secrets, but I wanted to keep them, too. This is a powerful novel of love, heartbreak and forgiveness. It warmed my heart at times and made me cry out loud at other times.
